Gibson EMC and CoBank donate $ 15,000

TRENTON, Tenn. – Gibson Electric Membership Corporation and CoBank and give back to the community.

The two organizations say a total of $ 5,000 each was donated to Central High School Alumni & Associates, the Trimble Fire Department and the Town of Gibson.

Donations will be used at the Crockett County Community and Family Resource Center to make improvements to the new after-school program.

It also includes a new thrift store, event center, food bank, and the Head Start and Early Head Start programs, the release said.

Another donation to the Trimble Fire Department will be used to purchase an office tower, safety vests, flares, various rescue tools and portable oxygen tanks.

The statement said Gibson will use his donation to supplement the kitchen at the Charles King Civic Center.

“As a member-owned company, we care deeply and are committed to helping our communities as much as possible,” said Dan Rodamaker, president and CEO of Gibson EMC and Gibson Connect. “We are grateful to CoBank, a national cooperative bank that provides annual ‘Share the Success’ matching grants to nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life in our communities. We have a common vision to meet the needs of our communities.
